UGH! This is making me like Coppola again. I hate that. I was perfectly happy hating him for trying to prevent the BFI releasing their restoration of Napoleon. But he likes Connie?!

I only said that because a bunch of people followed me after I posted those gifs and whenever that happens, the same people are always ones to unfollow when they see that that isn't the only thing I post...does that make sense? Lol.

Oh, jealous! See, British film, British directors, and you American’s get an amazing DVD release while ours is just basic and has a horrible cover :(

It was a fine morning and she [Deborah Kerr] walked over to see me in Chester Square. She was bare-headed and I remember her hair shining in the sun like bunished copper. No. 65A Chester Square has a little bay window with a window seat, which looks out into the street We sat there and talked. We looked at the bulky script together and I watched the subtle transformations...

Dear makers of 'Marple'
Stop shoehorning Miss Marple into stories to which she does not belong!
All this shouting at the TV is exacerbating my sore throat.
I always get sucked in by the gorgeous costuming and incredible cast but the writers always do unmentionably horrific stuff to the plot.

tea-with-theo asked: About your video problem. I only know how it works with the VLC player. Start the movie, click Video in the menu, then Subtitles. Click open file and chose your subtitle file. Well, that's how I'm doing it. (It needs no unpacking of the files first, as far as I know)

I find it utterly ridiculous and quite hilarious how people automatically draw the conclusion that if you love a star or an era you’re absolutely clueless of how it really was or what they were really like.
I am fully aware of the facts. Did it EVER cross your mind that we perhaps love them …

I download my files, put them together, but cannot figure out how to make subtitles appear on the end film. There’s a file for them in the download, but when I try to extract them/whatever I just end up with a mess :/
